Termite Swarm Season
In the Lowcountry
It's Formosan Termite Swarm Season
Formosan Subterranean termites swarm in late May through June and are often mistaken for other flying insects or ants. Although swarmers have no chewing mouthparts and do not cause damage to your home, their goals are to seek out a moisture source and establish new colonies. These new colonies of termites may eventually infest your home and cause damage.
