Is the mosquito treatment safe for my kids and pets?

Safety is our top priority. We use EPA-approved products that are designed to be used in residential yards. Once the treatment has had time to dry—usually about 30 to 60 minutes—it is perfectly safe for your children and pets to return to the yard and play.

Will your mosquito spray kill bees and butterflies?

At Palmetto, our mosquito specialists are trained to be "pollinator-conscious." We avoid spraying blooming flowers where bees and butterflies gather. Instead, we target the underside of leaves and dense, shady foliage where mosquitoes actually rest during the day.

What happens if it rains right after you spray my yard?

Palmetto Exterminators uses professional-grade "surfactants" (sticking agents) that help the product bind to your plants. Once the treatment is dry, it is highly water-resistant. However, if a major storm occurs immediately after application and you aren't seeing results, we offer a free reservice to ensure your yard stays protected.

Can I get a one-time spray for a special event?

Absolutely. If you are hosting a wedding, graduation, or backyard BBQ, we offer Special Event Sprays. We typically come out 24-48 hours before the event to ensure the area is comfortable and bite-free for your guests.
